The movie and show the typical Bollywood style climax. The movie was highly impressed the audience and was a hit like the original.
Chachi 420- Mrs. Doubtfire
Kamal Hassan’s comedy drama brought tears of glee in eyes of many. However, this quirky movie was adapted from Robin Williams’ Mrs. Doubtfire. Many well versed actors like Amrish Puri, Paresh Rawal, Nasser and Om Puri added to the movie’s charm. The plot was well adapted to suit Indian audience.
Sarkar- The Godfather
Ram Gopal Varma’s beautiful adaption of Copolla’s story about a criminal family was a great hit. Indeed, the major credits go to the real life father and son, Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan. Sangharsh- The Silence of the Lambs
Jonathan Demme’s crime thriller became Tanuja Chandra’s Sangarsh. The original movie is based on a book by Thomas Harris. The remake star cast included Preity Zinta, Ashutosh Rana and Akshay Kumar. Neither Preity nor Akshay are able to match the performance of Jodi Foster or Hopkins. However, it was Ashutosh Rana in the villain role making up for them. The film was hit for its unique story.
Baazigar- A Kiss Before Dying
The classic American served as the inspiration for Abbas Mustan’s Baazigar. The movie established new actors like Kajol and Shilpa Shetty in Bollywood. Further, Shahrukh Khan played against both the actresses. Indeed, the story was a unique and impressed people
Hum Tum- When Harry Met Sally
