Taking this into consideration, it can be said that the egg comes first. Prior to the first real chicken egg, there were only non-chicken animals and non-chicken eggs. Hence, we can say that they both did not arrive at the same time.
While some believed that the egg came first, there were others who believed that the chicken arrived first and hence, raised arguments. It has been found that a protein found only in a chicken’s ovaries is essential for the formation of the chicken egg. Hence, there was the traditional non-chicken egg that was produced by a non-chicken animal. Later came the mutated chicken that enabled it to produce the standard chicken. The mutation included a protein which accelerated the development of the hard shell. This hardshell is necessary for protecting the delicate fluids and yolk while the chick grows inside the egg.
