It is the Bollywood movies are always incomplete without villains, as the importance of the good is being realised when we realised there is something bad. And the villains are the equivalent to the heroes as he is the only person who is actually challenges the heroes in order to defeat him in the movie.
But hero is after all heroes, so he emerges as the winner finally but till the end of the story it is villain who gives tough competition to the heroes. And it is villain because of whom, the audiences realized the power of the hero.
In the 1960s and 1970s Hindi cinema villains where more powerful, stylish and ferocious but with the time changes it is the charisma of the villains also get changes.
In the golden era it is some villains where raunchy type likes, Gabbar Singh (Amjad Khan) of “Sholey” or even some villains were stylish like Prem Chopra, favourite villain of the silver screen, much known for his dialogue “Prem Naam Hain Mera, Prem Chopra”.
