It is the Bollywood movies are always incomplete without villains, as the importance of the good is being realised when we realised there is something bad. And the villains are the equivalent to the heroes as he is the only person who is actually challenges the heroes in order to defeat him in the movie.

But hero is after all heroes, so he emerges as the winner finally but till the end of the story it is villain who gives tough competition to the heroes. And it is villain because of whom, the audiences realized the power of the hero.

In the 1960s and 1970s Hindi cinema villains where more powerful, stylish and ferocious but with the time changes it is the charisma of the villains also get changes.

In the golden era it is some villains where raunchy type likes, Gabbar Singh (Amjad Khan) of “Sholey” or even some villains were stylish like Prem Chopra, favourite villain of the silver screen, much known for his dialogue “Prem Naam Hain Mera, Prem Chopra”.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui (Badlapur): one of the finest actors of the Bollywood proved himself mesmerizing in “Kick 2” followed by the success of the “Badlapur” opposite Varun Dhawan brought him an everlasting image.

Karan Johar (Bombay Velvet): The director turned actor Karan Johar made his acting debut with the movie “Bombay Velvet” by giving a surprisingly stealing performance as a villain.

Chandan Roy Sanyal (Jazbaa): The stylish and the handsome actor Chandan Roy Sanyal showcased his charisma as a villain in the Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer “Jazba” which was very dignified and unique.

Karan Singh Grover (Hate Story 3): The actor Karan Singh Grover made his acting debut with the Bollywood movie “Alone” with his rumoured girl-friend Bipasha Basu followed by the success of the erotic thriller “Hate Story 3” which bring him overnight success as a versatile actor.

Neil Nitin Mukesh (Prem Ratan Dhan Payo): In the Salman Khan starrer family drama “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo” it is the young actor Neil Nitin Mukesh played a pretty convincing role as the antagonist and indeed he looked perfect in the role of an evil and jealous step-brother. Neil is also showcased his worth as a dangerous, though stylish villain avatar in the Tamil superstar Vijay starer “Kaththi”.

Randeep Hooda (Main Aur Charles):Randeep Hooda played role of a womanizing serial killer Charles Sobhraj, in the movie “Main Aur Charles” and in the movie it is his lead character as a negative role which is very unique for the Hindi movies anyway.

Randeep performed the role of the Charles Shobhraj with lot of precision. Charles was no less than a psychopath, and Randeep’s avatar as Charles was enough to shiver the audience.

Prakash Raj (Dabbang 2): One of the most sorted actor of the Southern cinema Prakash Raj proved himself in the every genre of role in the South Indian cinema followed by the success the actor received in the Bollywood cinema to with his villainous avatar including films like, “Singham” and “Dabbangg 2”.

Ronit Roy (Boss): Amitabh Bachchan of the small screen Ronit Roy successfully made people scary with his villainous performance in the Akshay Kumar’s “Boss” followed by the his most Masala dialogue still remind by his fans, “Maut Ko To Log Yuhin Badnaam Karte Hain, Takleef To Zindagi Deti Hain”.
