Amazing! Telugu Movie “A...Aa” Box Office Collection Tops US Business Chart By Beats 'Housefull 3”

Trivikram Srinivas’ romantic comedy starring Nithiin and Samantha Ruth Prabhu topped the US box office among Indian releases in its opening phase, outperforming Bollywood’s 'Housefull 3' in key markets.

The Akshay Kumar-led comedy was a major Bollywood release in 2016 and performed strongly overseas, but was edged out in the US by the surprising momentum of 'A...Aa.'

S.S. Rajamouli’s epic set new benchmarks for Telugu cinema in the US, paving the way for later films like 'A...Aa' to command strong overseas openings.

Mahesh Babu’s blockbuster was one of the highest-grossing Telugu films in the US prior to 'A...Aa,' demonstrating the growing market for Tollywood abroad.

The Telugu remake of the Malayalam hit enjoyed notable US collections, reflecting the increasing appetite for romantic dramas among overseas Telugu audiences.

Starring N. T. Rama Rao Jr. and Mohanlal, this action drama achieved strong US box office numbers, continuing the upward trend for Telugu cinema overseas.

Despite mixed reviews, the Pawan Kalyan starrer opened big in the US, underscoring the star-driven market dynamics similar to those that helped 'A...Aa.'

Though it underperformed overall, the Mahesh Babu film had a significant US release footprint, reflecting the competitive overseas landscape during 'A...Aa’s' run.
