9 justifications why kids are so advanced today than we could ever be!

Kids today are much more independent when it comes to finding out new ways to learn things. They just log on to a search engine instead of pleading their moms and dads for answers to questions which their parents may not even know.

Kids learn things better when they are taught by audio and visual. We mugged the names of the 7 north east states for our exams but still don’t quite remember it. But today kids will have a better chance of remembering when they see a fun video of North East tourism or an augmented reality application.

When kids solve maths riddles while competing in real time with some kid in the US for a possible PS4 as a prize! Makes it more fun while learning..

When we were kids, we had to depend on the books our parents bought us or the school/public library.But now kids have access to an endless range of books, images, data tables, videos, blogs, games and other resources produced by different people with different ideas and knowledge. Their global library helps them to think in ways children have never been able to previously. Plus they are learning the important lesson of life no matter what they want to study.

Technology is customizing teaching methods for every kid’s needs! They can learn anytime when they are at their peak energy whether it be early morning or late night– Google’s vice-president of research Alfred Spector once said “that research shows that even average students can reach the top 2% of a class if they have a personal tutor that can adapt their teaching methods to the student’s style of thinking and learning. If it were the case that technology could become custom tutors, then it’s possible to imagine enormous improvements in educational attainment”. .

Kids today are learning new languages through apps such as Duo-lingo so imagine a 10 year old discussing an art assignment in French with a kid living in Paris.

Kids today crowd source solutions of problems they have no answer to. The varied perspectives lead to holistic learning and of course teach the art of collaboration.

All thanks to Skype, kids today are closer to their role models than we ever were, even while living continents apart.

Schools shut at 2pm and Libraries at 6pm. But every kid has a personal computer or laptop, an internet connection and electricity so their learning continues any time of the day or night, weekday or weekend! But of course all this depends on having an internet connection at home which is common these days.

Thus this e-revolution is hopefully turning the corner of all our  younger  generation in terms of social awareness and taking action..!
