You Miss Them
There are many reasons why you might lose contact with people. Sometimes, life gets in the way and you naturally drift apart. Or maybe you had a disagreement and one of you never quite got over it. Years down the line, you can start to miss them. You wish that you’d made time to see them back when you were still connected. You no longer feel resentment or anger about your past disagreements. If you’re missing your old friends, this is a good enough reason to make a move and reach out to them. Missing someone is never enjoyable and it can start to affect your mental health if you find yourself constantly wondering where this person is and what they’re up to. When you’re ready, arrange a meet-up. There are lots of great places you can go to reignite your friendship. You could go for a coffee or grab a bite to eat at a local cafe. It might be nerve-wracking meeting up after so many years, but it will be worth making the effort! No more missing your old friends because they’re no longer ‘old’ friends!
