Cross browser testing helps you test your website on different browsers, mobile devices, and operating systems. In this way, programmers run the web code through the development console and change the layout of the page on different devices. They can clearly see if the website functions change depending on the browser. This includes examining how the page looks, i.e. how the CSS styles are displayed.
