Antibody manufacture is an area in which India once again introduced many manufactured countries. The Center felt that India would have reliable protection against infection if these antibodies were approved for use. By August 2020, even before it reached the top of the primary wave, the central government had set up a National Expert Group on Vaccine Administration (NEGVAC) for COVID-19 to work on a far-reaching vaccination strategy.
