Trift Suspension Bridge
situated in Switzerland 170 metres (560 ft) at a height of 100 metres (330 ft) This is also considered as one of the most dangerous suspension bridge of the world. This suspension bridge is exactly situated at Trift Glacier, near the town of Gadmen in the Swiss Alps. It is one of the Alps’ longest and highest pedestrian suspension bridges. It was constructed and completed in 2004 in order to reconnect hikers to a hut which was made inaccessible by a retreating glacier. In 2009, stabilizing cables were installed to this bridge in order to prevent it from swinging violently in wind.
