The Skeleton’s Scratch Marks.

[caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="1024"] image courtesy: https://vmfa.museum/collections/wp-content/uploads/sites/9/2013/12/53_30_1_s1_TF_200911_XL-1024x576.jpg[/caption] The legend goes that a child was breathing low and some shmuck declared him dead; and was buried in his resting place. When the graves were to be relocated because the government wanted to build railways, they found scratch marks on the inside; suggesting that the child was buried alive. If you look for work of William Tebb, you will find that there is actually a record of 149 cases of premature burial.
