The Roommate’s Death or “Glad you didn’t turn on the lights”

The story has been written in the 1981 book “The Vanishing Hitchhiker” by W. Norton. The title itself is a bit of a spoiler; and yes, the entire thing began as a fictional story; but there have been crimes of the similar nature in the 1990s. This short story has the creep factor that will probably rob you of sleep; how I wish we could talk about the story itself; but I don’t want to deprive you this experience.   For anyone looking for more; there are plenty of legends hiding in the urban wastelands. Just... make sure you aren’t a part of one of them.
