[caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="1024"] image courtesy: http://darkcornersblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/BorisKarloffTheMummy1-1024x576.jpg[/caption] Why are you so certain that the Mummies in the haunted houses are all made of hay and wax? Ever wonder if they were actual people? Well, somebody took the bold step to step up and put a real body of skin and bone in a fun house for children to poke fun at. I know this sounds far-fetched, but believe me, it’s true. The place was Nu-Pike Amusement Park, Long Beach, California, USA and the year was 1976. The body used to be a thug named “Elmer McCurdy” before it was an entertainment piece.
