Symptoms To Look For
It can take roughly three months for wisdom teeth to erupt from beneath the gum line fully. However, because not all wisdom teeth emerge simultaneously, you may experience some of these symptoms intermittently and to varying degrees for some time. If you suffer acute pain that lasts, frequent headaches, bloody saliva, or notice an abscess spreading beneath your gums, you should see your dentist straight away. Though not everyone requires wisdom tooth extraction, most dentists recommend that all teenagers and young adults have their wisdom teeth X-rayed and monitored. Impacted wisdom teeth require extraction.
