By putting on airplane mode, there will be no radio-frequency transmission of a signal of a device. If you om airplane mode, then options like the cellular, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth of the phone or laptop will be off. Currently, there is a feature added to airplane mode that one can use Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, but there must be an inactive cellular connection.
