Monica Bedi 

Monica Bedi was romantically involved with dreaded underworld don Abu Salem who was wanted for his involvement in the 1993 Mumbai bomb blasts. Bedi was arrested along with her boyfriend when the two tried to enter Portugal with forged documents. After serving her jail term there, Bedi along with Salem was deported to India in 2005. While Bedi was accused under several charges, her jail term was reduced as she had served term in Portugal. While Salem continues to be in jail, Bedi is a free woman today! No doubt how famous these people are,  their unlawful acts are unlawful and offensive that shouldn’t be dealt with partiality.  A criminal should  be guilty of his deeds otherwise he can be motivated for another crime as well.  Bolly stars have been a subject of controversies yet their mistakes shouldn’t be ignored in light of their stardom and money-power. That’s how we can actually make our country a truly democratic one.
