Although at first it simply looks like old ruins of the world yet it has an ever-changing environment including cloud forest and alpine tundra. It takes almost 4 days long hike to reach the destination but once it reaches the reward is worth the hike. Machu Picchu is highly crowded during its peak season so you may want to book your place a few months in advance before planning the trip.
