Jackie Robinson
This man is a legend of baseball for many reasons. He joined the Dodgers in 1947 and became the first African American player in the Majors. He went on to play for 10 seasons, winning six pennants and the 1955 World Series. He was known as a gentleman on and off the field, and his stats make him as much of a legend as his debut did.
