Along with the detoxification diet, also include items that are rich in antioxidant agents. A very common and strong antioxidant agent is green tea. It is said that drinking 2-3 cups of green tea each day reduces the signs of ageing on your skin. It helps you again in flushing out the toxins from your skin and thus making your skin look healthy and glowing. Some other food items that are also rich in antioxidant agents are cabbage, asparagus, broccoli, avocados, spinach and beetroot. Though consuming too much of nuts may cause weight gain but still you may consider some amount of nuts in your diet such as almonds, walnuts, hazelnuts and others.
