  The addition of herbal extracts to a micro green salad is a delicious way to add extra nutrition to your food. Microgreens are very tender, harvested when they are only a few inches tall. Other salad ingredients should not overpower the microgreens, so you can add other elements like grated carrot, beets, snap peas, onions, chives, and fermented foods.  The nutrient-rich microgreens contain several phytochemicals, including beta-carotene, which reduces the risk of many different diseases. Microgreens are also known to have several benefits for eyes, skin, weight management, and physical health. Polyphenols, another phytonutrient found in microgreens, have been linked to reduced risk of heart disease, Alzheimer's, and cancer. As a result, the benefits of microgreens cannot be ignored.
