Floating Libertarian Countries
A California-based Institute plans to develop an island that will be floating and will be not governed by any country. Many people such as PayPal CEO Peter Thiel have invested in this project, and the project has been named as ‘Oasis of the Sea’. It has been designed by the architect Emerson Stepp, the best picture award winner in the year 2009. There are many other names that have been coming up on the island such as the ‘The Swimming City’, or the ‘Rendering Freedom’, but the actual name may be decided when the constructed gets started.
