Checking and cleaning ductwork
Dust, pet dander, and other airborne particles can build up within the ducts, reducing your system's efficiency, decreasing air quality, and potentially leading to health issues. To ensure optimum performance, it's recommended to have your ductwork professionally inspected and cleaned every 3-5 years. However, you can also conduct a visual inspection at home. If there's visible dust, mold, or a noticeable decrease in airflow, it may be time to have the ducts cleaned.
