This movie has stolen the show in terms of psychology, horror, thriller and had one of the most insane and over the top acting by Jack Nicholson. The story is about a caretaker of a hotel that moves in with his family to the hotel. Due to unforeseen circumstances and foggy weather, the hotel is closed down for about 4 months which leaves him in charge of it. The plot is about how he goes insane because of the isolation which affects his family members.
