Coorg, Karnataka

This is one of the most famous places for its scenic view and the aromatic south Indian coffee. It is the head of Kodagu region which is in Karnataka mostly referred to as Coorg. A complete hill station with beautiful mountain areas and waterfalls. Some famous places here are Irupu waterfalls, Abey Waterfalls, Madikeri, Talakaveri and the Golden Temple. It is very near to Mysore and Bangalore and it is mostly visited by working employees, students or families. The cottages here are very reasonable and is another attraction which adds to the beauty of Coorg. A must visit place if you want to spend your summer in a cool hill station.
