Rabindranath Tagore

Born:- 7 May 1861 Famous Books:- Gitanjali (1910), Gora (1910), The boyhood days (1940) Awards:- Nobel Prize in literature, Knight Title He is considered to be as one of the best authors in India. He had done his education in law where he had taken a great interest in Shakespeare and his famous works of literature. Keeping him as his inspiration he had become an author and a poet. His first poem Mansi was published in 1890 after which he had gained a lot of popularity amongst Bengali readers. His famous works include "Gitanjali" which are collection fo poems. He wrote the national anthem for India.
