It is true that the Corona Virus seems a lot similar to a Flu or Common cold, but it should be considered that the Coronavirus is still relatively new. Not much is known to the public. The only things we know are that the Symptoms of the virus are repetitive fever, cough and in worse cases Pneumonia.

The only reason that the Corona Virus has been shown to be recoverable and shown positive signs of improvement is the extreme action taken by the Chinese Government to contain the Virus. Chinese hospitals full of COVID-19 patients a few weeks ago now are empty. The number of new cases reported each day has reduced drastically in the past few weeks. But it is to be noted that the Chinese Government has acted in an inhumane way handling the virus.

There was a lockdown of many infected cities and most people were placed on house arrest. It is true that those methods have shown a fall in the cases being reported and stopped the spread of the virus within the country, but not many countries can replicate what the Chinese Government did. Many countries might not even have the resources to do so.

In Summary, the Virus is not something to be taken as lightly as a Common cold. It’s very dangerous and if not dealt with properly can lead to the fall of Governments. But on the other hand, it doesn’t mean you have to go into full panic mode, the virus is certainly recoverable from, but staying safe is always recommended as we don’t know the full length of the limitations and restrictions of the treatment.

Stay safe! And don’t travel anywhere especially if you are sick.
