Iconic Cartoons From The ’90s That Made Our Childhood Happy

If you look around at the kids of today you will see them glued to the phone screen. This kind of behaviour is new in kids and can be harmful. Unfortunately, some parents hand mobile phones to their kids to keep them happy, so that they do not trouble then find the work. This kind of situations, make us reminiscence about our childhood which had fewer screens in it and we spent our childhood happily watching cartoons. Let’s take a moment to remember the iconic cartoons fro 90s that made our childhood happy.

Tom and Jerry:

The iconic cat and mouse pair who used to fight all the time. The cat the chaser, the mouse being the runner. This was the most beloved and remembered cartoon from the 90s and the nostalgia you will get after hearing the opening music is incomparable. And the roaring lion too. There were two more versions of this cartoon, The Tom and Jerry Show and The Tom and Jerry Tales. They were created by created by animators William Hanna and Joseph Barbera for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer.

The Looney Tunes Show:

Witty Bugs Bunny, Hungry Tazz, Chittering Tweety, Mischevious Slyvester, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Foghorn Leghorn, Elmer Fudd, Penelope Pussy Cat, Witch Hazel, Claude Cat, Michigan Frog, Cecil Turtle, Bosko, Pepé le Pew, Speedy Gonzales and Granny. We got so many friends from this show? Which one was your favourite? Hard to decide on one. But we will definitely miss Sunday morning with breakfast over Looney Tunes.

Popeye the Sailor Man:

Did you sang the tune too? Me too! It’s so hard not to. Especially the hoot with the pipe.  Popeye has been around seen 1929. Yes that long! Plus, the other characters Oli aka Olive, Brutus and of course Popeye’s famous sidekick Wimpy. Don’t forget some other characters like Bluto, Swee’Pea, Poopdeck Pappy, and The Sea Hag.

Courage the Cowardly Dog:

I don’t think there’s anything to say about this show accept…

Narrator: We interrupt this program to bring you…Courage the Cowardly Dog Show, starring Courage, the Cowardly Dog! Abandoned as a pup, he was found by Muriel, who lives in the middle of nowhere with her husband, Eustace Bagge.

Scooby-Doo, Where Are You?:

How many of you dreamed of being a detective after watching this cartoon? And do you remember the song? ‘Scooby Dooby Doo, where are you? We got some work to do now. Scooby Dooby Doo, where are you? We need some help from you now’ And the other characters Velma, Daphne, Fred, Shaggy, and Scrappy Doo. Yeah, those were some fun days and iconic cartoons from 90s.

Pokémon:

One of the most high ranked cartoon series. Ash Ketchum and his pet Pokémon Pikachu were friendship goals. Not to forget Brock, Misty, the funny team Rocket including Jessie, James and Meowth, Gary, Professor Oak, Nurse Jenny and the wide range of Pokémons. Bulbasaur, Charizad, Caterpea, Squirtle, Charmander, Snorlax, Jigglypuff… Yes, the favourite will always be a Pickachu.

Beyblade:

A lot of season of this anime followed but the original first one was the best with Tyson’s Dragoon amd Ray’s Bull. We were always at the edge of the seat when the fight began. Not to mention the tantrums and pleadings we did so that our parents would give us Beyblade.

Dragon Tales:

Emmy wished on a dragon scale

And that’s what started Dragon Tales

Around the room the dragons flew

But Emmy and Max knew what to do

They climbed on the backs of their dragon friends

Now the adventures never end!

Dragon Tales, Dragon Tales

How many times have we pretend to have a magical stone, repeat this same lines and visited the Dragon lamd of our imagination. Max and Emmy made us so jealous of being able to visit the Dragon land.

Oswald:

The serene and kind-hearted blue octopus wearing a round hat, with its pet dog Winne, the eccentric daisy and short-tempered Henry were simply magical iconic cartoons from 90s.

Make Way for Noddy:

Noddy and his adventures in toy town. Boy! We did covet for the bell hat and the aeroplane and the car. It was created by Enid Blyton with other characters, Mr. Jumbo, Sly, Gobbp, Tessie, Dinah. Friends of all.
