Yoga is a workout, fitness and personal care routine that can help to keep the mind as well as the body in a healthy condition. It can be done at home without any expensive equipment. Moreover, in yoga, there are postures for both beginners as well as professionals to practice and benefit from.
Here the legs have to be bent down and held in position, and the hands have to be raised upwards. Then the body has to perform regular squats. The squats have to be repeated for proper results.
The person has to sit with the legs folded under them. Then the upper body has to be lowered until the nose touches the ground. The posture has to be held for a prolonged period.
The person has to lie down with the face towards the floor. Then the upper body has to be slowly raised to a height and held in place for some time.
Here the hand has to be held to the mouth. The person needs to inhale and exhale slowly while feeling the breath on the side. It has to be repeated multiple times. To make the process easier as well as concentrate on the process correctly, one can also count their breath throughout the process.
Here, the person has to lie down in a straight posture with the face turned upwards, the hands held at the side of the body and the legs together and relax. It is done in between the different yoga postures in a routine.
Cow Face Position
Here, the legs have to be crossed, one on top of the other. While sitting straight, the hands have to be placed behind the back to touch each other. The position has to be held for some time.
Here, the body has to be supported on all four, like a crawling baby. However, the hand and the legs have to be kept straight at all times. This posture has to be held for some time.
Downward Facing Dog
In this position, the body is supported on the hands and the feet. Then the lower part of the body is slowly raised with the help of the hands and the feet without bending. Thus, the body forms a triangle in this position. The triangle has to be held in position without bending for some time.
Here, the person has to sit with the legs crossed underneath and the hands placed on the knee in an ideal meditating position. One can also practice deep breathing and can count their breath while doing so.
Extended Puppy Pose
Here, you need to sit with your legs folded under them. Then, the hands have to be stretched forward, and the upper body has to be lowered to the ground such that the nose touches the ground. The body has to be held in this posture for some time.
Extended Side Angle Posture
For this one, the legs have to be kept apart. Then while bending one knee and keeping an arm on the knee for support, the other hand has to be extended as far above as possible. This has to be repeated over sometimes on each leg and arm.
Here, the body has to be laid with the face facing above, the hands by the side of the body and the legs together. Then, the upper half of the body has to be raised with support on the arms. The posture has to be held for some time.
For this posture, the legs have to be placed apart, and you have to sit in a squatting position. The hands have to be folded in front with the weight of the body leaning on the hands. This one should also be held for some time.
With the two legs stretched apart and the knee bent, one hand is stretched above while the other touches the leg.
Happy Baby Posture
Here the legs are raised above while lying on the stomach and the hands try to move the legs by stretching out.
