Now the country is all set to entertain American Pop- rock band One Republic. After a lot of waiting for the Band, the news was set out that “One Republic to perform in India“ would be the first time.
The band would be bringing in their outstanding live show to India for a great concert in April this year. This American rock band is all set to perform live on April 21, at the MMRDA grounds, which is in Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai.
The band OneRepublic consists of Ryan Tedder, Brent Kutzle, Drew Brown and Zach Filkins, which had been formed in the year 2002 and is credited for many hits
The Fans are all set to groove to the famous songs of the band. These songs are a smash hit starting from Apologize to “Secrets”, “Good Life”, the highest grossing song on youtube “Counting Stars” are some of their many songs that are a complete hit.
OneRepublic latest news was on Social Media where they had posted on Twitter and announced that Mumbai would be the show where they would be performing. The tweet from them was “Mumbai. we are excited to announce a show for all you guys this coming April.”
Apart from India, the Grammy-nominated band is all set to embark on a complete two week Asia tour that comprises of countries like Singapore, South Korea, China during which they will also perform at the Grammy Festival alongside Pharrell Williams and James Bay in Beijing.
The Director of Opium Events and Production, Cyrus Gorimar had revealed that they have been in talks with the management for over six months, now we have realized that the band has a great fan following base in India.
When people from India heard the news that One Republic to perform in India, there have been many pre-registrations where there has been a really phenomenal response with almost registrations close to 10,000 in a span of just 24 hours and they are anticipating of a crowd that would be about 15,000 fans for the event. The event would be extraordinary because of its large crowd and the scale with almost a multi-crore spend and invested into the event, said Gorimar.
OneRepublic had said that they have always wanted to visit India for many years and they are beyond excited to get the chance of performing a full live concert and also getting to explore the country.
The band would be in town almost 3 days prior to the concert to explore the place and also mainly taste the amazing food that is very famous in India, said a report in Pinkvilla. The report also said that there would be a huge party bash which would be done in their honour mostly like a welcome party and guests like Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone would be a part of the event.
