Staying in Hostel is fun for sure but what if you have stayed too long and start missing things around. People will surely tell you how amazing it is to stay in hostel but to feel homesick and then miss you family is something that you cannot avoid. Instead of telling how awesome hostel life is, let us see what we really miss when we stay in hostel .And here it goes.
GHAR KA KHANA vs. MESS FOOD
The first realization that happens if you stay in a hostel is the importance of home food. Served with all love, nothing can be compared to this one. Once you get used to the food from mess of your college canteen you understand that nothing can beat even the simple meal from home.
LONG HOURS OF SLEEP vs. 8 AM ALARMS
Hostel life is full of hustle and bustle and it goes very fast. You usually do not get the comfort sleep of 8 hours or more then. This is when you miss home. You miss the Sundays when you used to stay in bed for as long as you felt like, and that too with all the comfort.
LITTLE SURPRISES vs. SELF SERVICE
How incredible it was when you are at home and things get done automatically! These perks of staying with your family cannot be replaced by anything. From laundry to buying stuff, all is done without any effort and this is something that we miss incredibly at hostel.
TV AND DINNER vs. NO TV
The combo of TV and dinner is a far-fetched dream in hostels. But at home it was the most awesome time. Your favourite programs running on television and a plate full of hot home-made food are a true delight. Life seems so easy at times when you are at home.
SIBLINGS vs. NO SIBLINGS
Although hostel life is full of friends and buddies but you still miss some dear ones. Nothing can match the fights and the sibling love. Siblings are the ones you truly miss at times and nothing can make up for them.
So if you are staying in hostel you will surely understand how bad it feels at times when you can no longer depend on your parents, fight with your siblings and get all the homely love and comfort. But still hostel life is a charmer. It should surely be tried once.
