Parents are our well wishers in whom we can confide but as we grow up there are things that we can no more express openly. Let us take a look at some of these things that we usually hide from our parents. Here it goes.
FANTASIES AND LOVE LIFE
As we grow up the only thing that makes our stomach giggle is talking about our love life. Our love life and fantasies are the only things that keep us going at times. But when it comes to expressing it, we are damn scared. This tops the charts of things that we hide from parents. Parents may or may not understand the emotions that teens go through, but they for sure know how to give a good lesson once they get to know about it. So howsoever open and cool our parents may be, we still freak out when we think what would they do if they get to know.
ALCOHOL AND ADDICTIONS
Alcohol seems to be the only solution to all our issues at times. So whenever we are in a bad mood or something seems upside down, we run towards our addictions to relieve our pain. This is another thing that is done with great caution. Our addictions overpower us and one after another we have to come up with covers to keep those addictions hidden. Not healthy but that is how it goes in most of the cases. Alcohol and addictions surely teach us how to cover things well.
LATE NIGHT PARTIES AND NIGHT OUTS
Sneaking out at night either from your place or even from the hostel is another adventure that teenagers enjoy. The amount of thrill that it gives cannot be compared to any adventure. Even though we know that thing may become risky and we may fall in danger but still we take up the risk and try to live what we call as the best part of our life. We play along the wind, drive, and dance and make sure nobody gets a clue of where we are. It is scary but is loads of fun too.
STYLE AND CLOTHING
Style comes naturally with age. But what if it goes beyond limit! This surely happens when there is competition around. As teens we usually try to copy each other’s style and end up with something that becomes a sore in the eye for our parents. So when we go out for parties and get-together we usually play by our rules in terms of style and wear what we know won’t be approved by our parents. This however is fun!
MONEY CRUNCH
Money is the pocket is hard to keep. It flows like water and surely leaves worries in our mind. As we get to the teenage we get a fixed amount of pocket money to fulfill all our needs and wants but it is a rare case that this pocket money falls in our range. We over and over and over spend without keeping in mind the after effects and end up begging from our friends. This may sound fun later but the one who goes through it can tell how painful that time is!
