Monsoon surely relieves us from the reckless heat of summer, but then, it does not take time for that pleasant drizzle outside your window to turn into a seemingly endless downpour of water. Take the recent Mumbai rains for example. Entire city was clogged and it became almost impossible to go out. Whenever something like this happens, you are left with no option but to stay inside your home and wonder when the rain will stop. And then begins the tick-tock of boredom and soon, the feeling of dullness takes over you.
But don’t worry about it anymore. Next time you get stuck in a situation like this, I have certain things that you can do to make your day much more “happening”. You may even find yourself wishing for a rainy day so that you get to do one of the following things all day.

Here are 11 such things that you can do when you are stuck at home on a rainy day.

1. SLEEP, and sleep your ass off!

When was the last time you had a daytime nap?
Rain provides you with a perfect excuse along with a lethargic climate to sleep your boredom away.
So go ahead, lie down on the cozy comfort of your bed and dive into your dreamland, with no alarm clock, nothing to disturb you. Sleep like a baby!

3. A VIDEO-GAME MARATHON!

Anyone into gaming probably doesn’t need a rainy day excuse to play, but when you have an entire day in front of you, why not do what you do best. Grab your console and start away, no one’s going to stop you!
